Insignia’s Discovery Layer is highly customizable. You can feature your library’s unique branding, including customized headers, colors, and menus. The Discovery Layer can feature unique collections, share bingeable series, and much more!

Patrons

Patrons can manage their account, rate resources and write reviews. They are able to view current check outs, due dates, holds, and fines. Creating reading lists, holds, and book requests is easy and intuitive.

Community Support

Your community members can request items and manage outreach preferences. Librarians can feature groups of items in carousels to support community initiatives. Librarians or patrons can create custom resource lists to enhance community engagement.

Events Manager

Elevate your community’s engagement with Insignia’s Event Manager. Patrons are able to view events on the OPAC, register for events, and export events to their personal calendars. When creating events, Insignia provides you with options for customization for event type, audience and more. You are able to set the event as a series or a singular event, indicate event location, and enable self registration and waitlist options. Discover all these features and more!

Room Booking

With Insignia’s Room Booking module enables patrons to search room availability by date, room capacity, and the resources available. You are able to set room booking hours, policy for each room, buffer periods for set up and take down, and maximum booking times.

Mobile App

Insignia Library System has a mobile app for patrons and librarians to conveniently search for items, place reserves, and view their account information. Staff can use the app to check items in or out and conduct inventory.

Offline Mode

If you lose connection to the internet, our ILS will automatically revert to offline mode. In offline mode, you can circulate items, catalog records and perform inventory. Once connectivity has been restored, the data will be uploaded into the system

Print Management

With local and mobile printing options, patrons can print a variety of file types from library computers, mobile devices, or remotely. Administrators can select automatic print release or staff-mediated release, and can set pricing for a variety of print types. Insignia’s print manager works seamlessly with our computer management system and ILS so patrons are automatically charged for print jobs.
